TON4 CASA is a dynamic collaboration between Anderer Kunstverein e.V. and Casablanca e.V., manifesting as a Ton/Audio Studio, in Leipzig west neighborhood Lindenau (Germany), at the Casablanca e.V.’s cultural center. This initiative offers a space where music production, digital experimentation, instrumental exploration, workshops, and avant-garde sound installations converge, catering to the interests and needs of the (post-)migrant and BIPOC communities of the city.
Rooted in a collective praxis of open-door policy, TON4 CASA welcomes individuals, groups, collectives and creatives alike to utilize the studio space for their projects. By extending a wealth of resources and unwavering support for audio and music endeavors, our aim is to give means for individuals and groups to embrace and redefine their cultural context.
Currently, TON4 CASA has been occupied by a flux of activities that slowly take the Studio to a public sphere. From intimate showcases, casual recording sessions, audio and bespoken workshops, we hope to become a soundbase to gather, record and dissect contemporary socio-political narratives.
